Nike Girl
by George Lundeen

Rest awhile on the wooden bench next to this mesmerizing likeness of a teenage African-American girl taking a break from her jog in the Hawaiian heat. With a wet towel around her shoulders and well-worn running shoes, "Nike Girl sits refreshed and contented after her run through the garden," explained Mrs. Doty about this piece by one of her favorite sculptors, George Lundeen of Colorado.

Sunset Ritual
by Jim Demetro

Sunset Ritual

Jim Demetro depicts a mother teaching her young daughter how to wash her hair in a small tub. This charming sculpture has found the perfect setting in the zen garden adjacent to the teahouse.
